Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Public Company Limited is the Thai company behind Taokaenoi seaweed snacks. It was founded in 2004 by Itthipat Peeradechapan, known as Tob. The company is based in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, and has been listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since 2015.
Taokaenoi makes fried, grilled, roasted, baked and tempura seaweed, plus other snacks, and its brand has appeared on collaborations such as a nori seaweed Pretz with Glico and a seaweed Pringles. On SeekSnack the company’s crispy big-sheet seaweed is reviewed in several flavours, including Taokaenoi - Crispy Seaweed Big Sheet Spicy Flavour, Caesar salad and cheese: thin sheets of seaweed fried in oil until crisp and dusted with seasoning.
Seaweed itself is not a major allergen, but the cheese flavour’s seasoning contains milk.
