Mars, Incorporated is a family-owned American food company headquartered in McLean, Virginia, founded in 1911 in Tacoma, Washington. It is entirely owned by the Mars family and makes some of the world’s best-known confectionery, including Mars bars, M&M’s, Snickers, Twix, Milky Way and Skittles, along with Combos snacks and pet food brands such as Pedigree and Whiskas. In December 2025 it completed the purchase of Kellanova, the maker of Pringles and Cheez-It.
On SeekSnack, Mars appears with M&M’s candies, including M&M Peanut Chocolate, peanuts covered in milk chocolate inside a crisp, colourful sugar shell, and with Combos Pizzeria Pretzel, crunchy pretzel tubes with a pizza-flavoured cheese filling.
The peanut M&M’s contain peanuts and milk, and Combos pretzels are made with wheat flour and contain cheese.
