Koala’s March is a bite-size biscuit from Lotte: a hollow, koala-shaped shell filled with cream, with different koala pictures printed on the pieces. Lotte launched it in Japan in 1984, the same year the first koalas arrived in the country.
Thai Lotte Co., Ltd. has made Koala’s March in Thailand since 2009. The Thai range includes chocolate, strawberry, choco banana, Hokkaido milk and the darker Black Koala’s March with bitter chocolate. Koala’s March Chocolate is the classic, while the White Milk version adds cheese powder to its milky cream.
The shells are made with wheat flour, corn starch and egg, and the fillings are based on milk or white chocolate compound, so Koala’s March contains gluten, egg and dairy.
